bBIG Communications is proud to announce that it has been named a Silver winner in the 2025 Horizon Interactive Awards for its integrated social media campaign supporting the launch of Danone North America’s OIKOS Protein Shake.

The Horizon Interactive Awards is an internationally recognized competition that celebrates excellence in digital, interactive, video, and emerging media. In 2025, there were more than 400 entries globally and only 18% of those entries received a Silver Award, making bBIG’s recognition a meaningful distinction within a highly competitive field.
bBIG’s award-winning entry, submitted in the Social Media Campaign category, highlighted the agency’s work on the OIKOS Protein Shake Launch campaign for Danone North America. The campaign was designed to drive awareness, engagement, and product trial among military consumers shopping at Commissaries across the United States.
Using a military family to tell their personal stories of how OIKOS “fueled their strength,” bBIG created a military shopping experience at the Commissary. This authentic video content showed how OIKOS allows our military audience to accomplish everything in their busy lifestyles without sacrificing protein goals.
To achieve strong media results, bBIG developed a fully integrated, social-first strategy that connected with military families where they live, shop, and engage online. The campaign included long-form and short-form video content, authentic military influencer partnerships, lifestyle photography, weekly organic social media posts, and targeted paid advertising across the My Military Savings and My Military Lifestyle platforms.

The campaign was further supported by high-impact digital placements across the My Military Savings and My Military Lifestyle websites, including homepage video integration and visibility across more than 450 My Home Base pages. To reinforce engagement and drive conversion, the campaign also incorporated targeted email outreach to military shoppers and point-of-sale materials placed in the top 100 CONUS Commissaries.
The results were impressive. The campaign generated over 14.6 million combined impressions across digital, social media, in-store, and email channels. Social content alone delivered more than 6.1 million reach, impressions, and engagements, while campaign content across bBIG’s platforms generated 253,347 page views. Targeted emails to military shoppers also outperformed industry benchmarks, delivering strong open and click-through rates.
The campaign’s impact extended beyond engagement metrics. DeCA currently ranks #6 in OIKOS Protein sales-to-date — surpassing several major mainstream competitors and highlighting the strength of targeted military marketing.
“We’re incredibly proud of the team that brought this campaign to life,” said Matthew Smith, President of bBIG Communications. “Their creativity, dedication, and deep understanding of the military community made this campaign a success. This kind of award-winning work is exactly what we strive to deliver every day, helping our clients build meaningful connections with military families across the United States.”
The recognition from the Horizon Interactive Awards highlights bBIG’s continued commitment to delivering impactful, culturally relevant marketing programs that resonate with the military audience and drive real business results for clients.
